Cambodia: Try as You Might…Sick You Will Become

I’d eaten there before many a time, friends loved it, and yet I got the short end of the stick this round. I know it was this restaurant because I didn’t get a chance to eat lunch that day, I had dinner there, and about 6 hours later I had the fever and the gut ache. It peaked at 102-point-something degrees in about 36 hours.

This time, instead of ‘toughing it out’ I started a round of Cipro as soon as my fever was gone. So far, it’s made my bowels more or less right. I just hope I don’t need to go through it again–sure, it’s uncomfortable, but I simply don’t have the time to be sick. Fingers crossed.
